Merging PDFs: combine several files into one for submission
You often need to bundle several PDFs into one before submitting them. Sending an application form, supporting documents and scans separately is inconvenient for the person receiving them too. Yet many people assume you cannot merge PDFs without paid software.
EasyCVT Merge PDF is a free online tool that combines multiple PDFs into one.
What sets it apart: thumbnail editing
When you upload files, every page is shown as a thumbnail. You are not just reordering files; you can review and edit page by page.
- Drag to change the page order
- Remove unwanted pages with the ✕ button
- Select several PDFs at once
- Processed in the browser, with no server upload
How to use
- Click the file selection area or drag and drop your PDF files. You can select several at once.
- Check all pages in the thumbnails.
- Use the mouse to change the order, and press ✕ on any page you want to leave out.
- Press "Merge PDF in current order" and a single PDF is created.
When it comes in handy
- Submitting a job application, a copy of a certificate and an employment record as one file
- When scanned documents were saved as separate files for each page
- Picking only the pages you need from several reports and bundling them
- Merging while leaving out blank pages or a cover page
Safe for sensitive documents too
PDFs containing personal information, such as contracts and supporting documents, are not something you want to upload to an outside server. The tool states that files are processed in your browser instead of being sent to a server, so there is less to worry about.
