Free QR code generator – save as PNG with no sign-up and no watermark
You may want to put a QR code on a shop menu, an event flyer, a business card or a leaflet. But when you try to make one, many sites ask you to sign up, or turn into a paid service after a while. It is awkward if the QR code does not open after everything has been printed.
EasyCVT QR Code Generator is a tool that makes QR codes for free, with no sign-up, and lets you save them as PNG.
What is good about it
- No sign-up required
- No ads, no watermark, no usage period limit
- What you enter is not sent to a server
- Besides URLs, plain text can also be turned into a QR code
Choosing the image size
- 256 x 256 px: for the web and messengers
- 512 x 512 px: for ordinary printing
- 1024 x 1024 px: for high-resolution printing (banners, posters)
How to use
- Enter the link (URL) or text you want to turn into a QR code.
- Choose an image size and press [Generate QR code].
- Scan the preview with your smartphone to check it, then download it as PNG.
Ideas for using it
- Shops: a link to the menu, or to a reservation or review page
- Wi-Fi notices: the shop's Wi-Fi information as text
- Business cards: a link to a portfolio, a blog or contact details
- Events and training: links to application forms, surveys and downloadable materials
Checks before printing
- For printed material, choose at least 512 px.
- Scan it once more after printing to confirm that it works.
- If the link is too long, the QR pattern becomes dense, so a shorter address is better when possible.
